Is This A Scam
Whenever you’re in the business of online or network marketing, you will always have those people that are skeptical from the very start.
Before you even tell them about the business you’re involved in, they already have it in their mind it’s a scam.
I am often asked: “do I have to pay something,” “is this one of those pyramid schemes,” or “what’s the catch” but the most famous question is: “is this a scam?” I swear if I hear that question one more time I’m going to scream.
Whenever I advertise on social media sites, that’s the first question I get and I often get annoyed and respond “if it were a scam I wouldn’t be doing it.”
Honestly, if you think online marketing or network marketing is a scam, then this is certainly not the business for you. I understand being skeptical, but skepticism should lead you to research.
Please understand me when I say a SCAM has NEVER paid any of my bills. I’m not in the business of scamming anyone because I have been scammed once and it’s not a good feeling.
What I’ve found is that people say they want to make money, but they don’t want to work for it. For some reason, they seem to think it will come easy, fall in their lap or think they don’t have to put in work…. Where they do that at?
If that were the case then hell everybody would be rich.
If you’re a newbie, some of these questions could scare you or even make you freeze up, but here are a few tips on how I deal with the skepticism.
Do I Have Pay Something
….Ummmmmmmm… yeah!!!
No matter what you’re doing you’re going to have to spend some money. As the saying goes, “it takes money to make money” and that’s just real.
You can’t expect to get anything for free except oxygen and hell they charge you for that at the hospital so marinate on that for a while.
When people ask you do they have to pay, simply respond: “you buy gas to get to work, right?” Most of the time that will leave them with a blank stare because it’s the cold-hard truth.
When you first start a job, you already are in the hole because you have to pay for gas to get there and you haven’t even made a check yet. Case in point: J.O.B. = Just Over Broke.
Then again, even when I offer free programs, they still have questions and they don’t have to spend a dime so what does that tell you? Some people are just never satisfied, will make any excuse and that’s just something I have zero tolerance and no time for… Next!
